"We are the men of the house but you know it’s different than how other houses work. You know you’re the only girl here but you are our guest so we don’t want you to cook and clean and fetch water for us like other women would. So you know we have to do this ourselves. We think this is nice. We think that the women shouldn’t have to do all of this work. We are men but we can cook and fetch water and clean too. It’s hard because we have to do all of these things while our friends have women to do the work for them but sometimes that’s not fair. Women can do men stuff and we can do women stuff. We are always very tired but we still love living here and love being the men of the house. We know a lot of women who go to the farm and work very hard, except you, you are one women who doesn’t do anything women or men do but that’s okay too.” - Men of Chief Palace
